Yes, you heard right XD Today  (October 27th) is my birthday! And I'm so happy X3 I've been irritating my friends with things like 'onle x days left' for a while, and I was even worse last evening with my hours and minutes XD

I got to know just a while ago that Robert Jordan (writer of the Wheel of Time-series) died of a heart-disease last Sunday (16th of September)... with the LAST book of WoT unfinished!

I am crying. Why?

Well, first of all, Robert Jordan was the one to INSPIRE ME TO START WRITING. Without him there hadn't been any Once is Once for my readers to read today.

And he was one of my all-time favourite authors!

I'll just... give him a silent minute now. And then pray for that at least the part of the book he wrote will be given out (supposedly, his wife is supposed to finish it as he told her all the plot details... but it still won't be HIS ending...)

At any rate,

RIP Robert Jordan! You are (I won't put you in past tense!) one of the best fantasy-writers out there, and I will remember you for inspiring my writing!

Today, with the help of some nice people at the DN doujinshi community here on LJ, I got around buying some a lot of doujinshis. And I thought I'd show you guys them (I guess you're still waiting from LJ entries in keyhani from me (which I will do as soon as I've been settled with my host family in Shunan (Yamaguchi-ken). So today was my last day in Tokyo and the staff of the program FINALLY allowed us to go exploring on our own. So I went to Akihabara (got a DS *got it before as I SNUCK out a few days ago to get it* I also got both DN games), Harajuku (too hot to explore much though) and Ikebukuro (to buy Doujins)

So, the result is:



Yeah, there are a lot. And all of them (24) for less than 10k yen (9600, to be exact) So I'm really happy right now. My roomates are happy too *laugh* (the foot on the picture belongs to one of them, btw)

I'm gonna upload some of these (after I've read them XD) after I've gotten my hands on a scanner.

And the completely white one (second row, third from the left)~ I just bought it because it looked interesting. it didn't give ANYTHING away (and doujins are wrapped in plastic so we won't get to know what they contain) So I'm gonna start with that one in a minute *laugh*

Hello everyone!

I'm leaving for Japan Tomorrow.
It feels... weird - I'm very nervous but looking forward to it all the same.

Anyway, in order for me to tell you all about what happens there, I decided to create another account that ONLY focuses on the trip, and everyone can find it here: keyhani
